It may seem crazy to you that we are highlighting a sunscreen as the product of the month in November of all months. However, we at Maine Laser Skin Care have always advocated the use of sunscreen every day, not just in the summer when the sun is presumably at its brightest.
Plus, this month's featured product is the newest of our line of skin care products. It contains extra features that are enhancements on the usual sunscreen product line you may find in your local store or pharmacy.
The November Product of the Month is our own Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen SPF 40, a new and improved sunscreen that is tinted. It not only hydrates the skin and provides a superior defense against UVA and UVB rays, but it also protects the skin from High Energy Visible (HEV) light coming from mobile devices and TV & computer screens.
The ingredients within Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen SPF 40 include zinc oxide, antioxidants, and peptides to improve the appearance of sun-damage, such as wrinkling and loss of elasticity. These ingredients are also vegan, cruelty free, and reef safe.
Our new Ultra Replenishing Sunscreen SPF 40 glides on very easily, and can be used as a makeup primer. Testing has shown that it is suitable for all skin types, including Fitzpatrick Types 5 and 6, and is safe for those with sensitive, acne, and/or rosacea-prone skin.
Even though it is fall and winter is coming, we still recommend wearing sunscreen every day, so now is the perfect time to start using this new product.
