TED is an ultrasound-based device that uses acoustic sound waves to cause a range of aesthetic improvements during the course of therapy.
The ultrasound frequency used by TED stimulates blood flow into the treated area of the scalp. A TED hair stimulant formula, which contains a number of ingredients that support optimal hair and scalp growth and follicular strength, is used with the ultrasound.
When paired together, the TED system and the hair stimulant topical agent improve the appearance of hair. The existing follicles grow out thicker and more full looking, while also resulting in the stimulation of new hair growth.
The treatment protocol itself takes about 20-25 minutes. You will feel a warming sensation over the treated area and a mild ringing sound from the ultrasound throughout the session but no pain. No needles needed, no discomfort and no trauma to the scalp!
To obtain the optimal benefit of the TED system in terms of both hair regrowth stimulation and prevention of hair shedding, at least three treatments about one month apart are recommended. You will see some initial improvements even after the first session with progressive benefit after each subsequent session.
