Prior to coming in for a lip filler treatment, we recommend that you avoid any medications that could cause bruising such as aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen. The lips are very vascular, and can bruise easily.
Following the procedures, we also highly recommend no lipstick or gloss for 24 hours and nothing hot on the lips for 3-4 days, including hot coffee or tea. For many other reasons besides your lips, we also stress absolutely, positively NO SMOKING.
